i kind of sympathise for the original author because i'm the same age as her and this i hate men-style feminism was the dominant, like, modality for internet counterculture and modern social justice from about 15 years ago until the end (as we call it) of the pandemic. it feels like people are moving on now to a sort of detached post-feminist egalitarianism where everything and everyone is as bad as everything and everyone else, which is probably more constructive in terms of analysing the ideas that people present instead of looking at someone's identity and being like :/ not sure this is appropriate for a cishet white guy to say!

i think this is in part due to the number of "disprivileged" people at the levers of power (pete buttigieg, lori lightfoot overseeing chicago pd, kamala harris, etc) directly or indirectly using their identity or having their identity used to defend their position, all while doing the same work as the last guy. the remains of the contrived misandry/die cis scum (though this has been retired for a little longer lol)/i hate straight people/whatever attitude can be found on the average college girls instagram page. it's not interesting any more. the privilege and oppressor framework has been integrated by the privileged and the banal. i guess what i'm saying is that it's understandable for someone who was raised in that style of politics to not move on, especially in their late twenties, when theyre probably developing their professional lives and starting families. maybe i'm projecting too much lol
