SRS: the ShitRedditSays subreddit. A place where people would post other redditors' bigoted posts/comments and mock them. It's a ghost town now, but it was pretty active between 2010ish and 2017ish.

Reddit: a mistake

The Fempire: A network of subreddits affiliated with SRS. Also the former name of this website.

Puppy Linux, that brings back memories. It was the first linux distro I ever used. My uncle showed it to me, and gave me a flash drive and a "computer" to use it with. I put quotes around computer because this thing had no case, it was just a PSU and a motherboard with the CPU, RAM, and other peripherals it needed to run. We called it the Frankenputer. It worked well enough to run puppy linux at a tolerable speed. After I installed Debian on my main desktop PC, I left it in a closet for years, until I eventually threw it away since it was just collecting dust. RIP Frankenputer.

Uh, anyways, Puppy Linux good.

Thank you, I didn't have time to read the entire article, but what I did get to was very interesting. I appreciated the insight into the nuances of agriculture.

Two not so fun facts, Henry Ford was a nazi, and the vast majority of harvested soybeans are used for animal feed.

Very nice, what did you use to make the "fish"? The only homemade vegan fish I've done is marinated tofu strips that I battered and pan fried.

I've used Graphene for a couple years now, and I have no complaints about it. Can't say how good it is compared to CalyxOS, since I've never used that. I like that it lets you enable/disable apps at will, control things like which apps have network/camera/etc permissions, and automatically disabling apps that you haven't used in a long time. It's a breath of fresh air compared to when all we had was Replicant OS shudders those were dark times indeed.

Idk if anyone remembers the user greenduch from SRS, but I believe she was involved in starting another reddit clone type website. Don't remember what it was called, but they were trying to go commercial, and they shut down not too long after opening because not enough people were using it. That was a looooong time ago though, and I don't think they were trying to associate it with the fempire, it was just supposed to be a less shitty version of reddit
