yes, they will.
your name, about text and profile picture are visible to your signal contacts — username and phone number aren't.

properly removing wet kitchen gloves requires an electric hand dryer or another person with a hair dryer
keep your hands in the hot air stream until the water on your gloves has evaporated
take off your gloves like normal
