i buy a used pixel every 3+ years and install graphene os on it

it's nice having a phone that isn't super invasive

I've used Graphene for a couple years now, and I have no complaints about it. Can't say how good it is compared to CalyxOS, since I've never used that. I like that it lets you enable/disable apps at will, control things like which apps have network/camera/etc permissions, and automatically disabling apps that you haven't used in a long time. It's a breath of fresh air compared to when all we had was Replicant OS shudders those were dark times indeed.

I've been using Calyx for awhile, and the user experience is what I'd expect (no banking apps / 'ok google' / google pay / android auto / etc) but this is enough endorsement that I'm 100% going Graphene on my next phone. Thank you :D
