hehe yeah! its amazing that something like that can be in such good shape over a hundred years later! And its so ornate and pretty! its a bit cliché, but things were really made differently back then.

WOAH that kicks ass. That's actually supremely cool. That reminds me of the "dog magic pie bush" tweet but it's actually much cooler than that

I wish I could help you. I am often in places consistent with what you're describing (and it was really really bad 2020-2022). I wish "just pull it together" worked
I want to echo the sentiments from I_got_killed_one_time and nomorepie. You and your brain health are important to us.
Something I think helped me a lot was to create a habit tracker with a checklist of easily accomplishable basics. It's just a Field Notes journal. Like, my brain health is still in shambles, but at least this way my brain health is in shambles and I floss every day. If you're someone who benefits from checklists and notebooks, that might help a bit?

Update, the kind I bought was already marinated so I just seared it in a pan on sunflower oil and ate it with rice and corn. It was okay, but a real struggle meal since I was quite sick and just wanted to make something fast, then ate the remaining half block after sliced very thin and heated in oil as well

It takes a village. That's the defining feature of the mysterious settlement stealing monster.

It literally does. When someone replies to a post it will be sent to the top and say " x new comment(s)" . Maybe its a setting you need to enable

Go to the doctor or just a therapist. They can be good for you. From knowing you i think you could benefit from a therapist, they can give you advice and strategies on how to deal with and ease out of the behaviours youre talking about.
You dont have to do everything yourself. It doesn't make you less nobel or more weak if you cant fix your brain and completely cure yourself from first principles. Because thats not possible. Its ok to get help. People want to help.

I have two things to regretfully inform you of:
1: I occasionally listen to the podcast of the guy who makes the podcast app I use (overcast) and he thought up this idea a decade ago. He never implemented it because he didn't want to fuck with people's business, at least back when the whole thing was smaller scale. No idea why I remember this random thing, I guess I also thought it was a good idea.
2: The way ads are delivered today would screw this up. Podcasts (or at least the one with lots of ads) use dynamically inserted ads now, meaning that there isn't just one file that everyone is downloading that is the podcast. You can download a podcast on Monday, and then download it again on Tuesday, and it'll have a different number and length of ads. There's marketing tech in the background adjusting things based on what people are paying for campaigns and such. And while they don't track that much about you, they can tell generally where the file is being downloaded from a target ads that way, so two people downloading the same podcast at the same time might get different ads.
I also learned this from that podcast app dude. He had to remove a feature where you could stream a podcast from the internet, pause it, and then resume it without downloading the whole file to your phone. It would try to resume from the same time but it'd be jumbled around because it wasn't the same file anymore!
Ads fucking suck I hate them so much!!!!!
