Never turn off my computer if I don't have to, same with the router. I like the hum when I'm trying to sleep. I only turn my phone off when I go to the movies which probably averages out once every four or five days.

I don’t even turn it on every day, so I clearly can’t shut it down every night lol. And I usually suspend to disk, with the occasional reboot for general system health.

On the other hand, my phone pretty much never gets shut down unless I’m doing a reboot.

Desktops never, my phone and router almost always, laptops usually (especially my Apple laptop, which seems to have good idle battery use)

i used to shut my phone down every night when i was in high school, i thought it saved battery

I shut down every night, although windows 10 being the piece of garbage that it is, sometimes it decides that I meant to restart and I have to get up when I notice that I can still hear the fans going.

I shut down your router every so often when I get bored :-)

In Hungarian folklore we are not supposed to sweep on new year's eve because we'll sweep away good fortune. We eat lentils cos it resembles coin = money. On new year's day the first person to wish you a happy new year ought to be a man. There's loads more but I don't remember, I'll ask my mom because she knows a lot of superstitions like this.
