Does The Cremator (1969) by Juraj Herz count? It's my favourite film of the Czech New Wave.

Synopsis from Wikipedia: Set in 1930s Prague, Karel Kopfrkingl slowly devolves from an odd but relatively well-meaning cremator of the dead into a murderer of his family and mass murderer who proposes to run the ovens at extermination camps due to the influence of the Nazi party and Tibetan Buddhism, as he believes his murders are "liberating" the souls of the deceased into a better life.

Seems very plausible that my neighbours could be sucked into fascist ideology to the point of trying to have me killed.

I don't read very often but last year I read Mishima's The Sailor Who Fell from Grace with the Sea after finding it in the little library in the park. He's a very evocative author but after I finished each chapter I couldn't help but think "yeah, you would write that, wouldn't you?"

I appreciate pooping, in fact I appreciate it so much I've kept a log of every poop I've done since January 2021. You record so many useful facts, for example I can tell you in all those years I've only experience ten type 7s. However this has had the knockon effect of everyone knowing my friend group Discord server as 'the poop server'.
