i believe, based on my legal experience (eight ace attorney games, and i've followed the lawsuits by this guy who cheats in donkey kong), that this is a patent issue, not a copyright one.
i've seen projects be deployed to production with NODE_TLS_REJECT_UNAUTHORIZED=0, thus disabling certificate verification for any tls connection made by the application, because now we need https during local development which is a huge pain in the butt to set up.
5 is the one with the orca. at least on the 3ds version, that case is a dlc, i have no idea if the recent rerelease of the 4/5/6 trilogy includes it or not.
i'm stuck on the third case in 6, but my impression of the game so far is it's marginally better than 5, which is imo the worst of the series.
also a month ago they coincidentally wanted to register "raddle" as a trademark, too. very unfortuate that every trademark they want to register is already in use by a postmill site.
ok so i've looked into this, and on a postmill instance that uses cloudflare + nginx, i cannot reproduce the issue, it seems to work fine. i can only imagine it's a problem between caddy and whatever http client newsblur uses.
