Oh god:
Jay Kogen: One time, I remember, [Swartzwelder] bought a painting that Hitler had painted. I was like, “Really? You want to buy a Hitler painting?” But he loved historic artifacts.

I looked up who John Swartzwelder is and god that episodes like The Old Man and the Lisa were written sarcastically by a hardcore conservative explains so much

yo this is a good post thanks for writing it up. I go back to the simpsons sometimes just so I can say "yea, it's still really good" but yea how the episodes got written is a real open question that a lot of people keep quiet about so that's an interesting subject

a reset button wouldn't work at all, you wouldn't be able to hit it while it has power. I think the issue is less this is wrong way to reset it, and more it's absurd to put a computer into a lightbulb

How is Everipedia different from Wikipedia and similar sites?
- Anyone can make pages about anything (as long as they are properly cited).
- Editing on Everipedia is modern and visually appealing. For example, we embrace memes (in a scholarly way, of course), incorporate GIFs within the copy, and display images and videos in a way to make them stand out.
- Talk pages are designed as discussion threads. This allows our editors to continuously discuss news-related items about their favorite topics.
- Celebrities can have verified accounts. Not only does this allow them to have conversations with their fans on their own page, but they can also contribute information to their own pages... without having to rely on secondary sources!
- Every page from Wikipedia is already here on Everipedia to build on top of and improve.
- All these reasons make Everipedia the greatest knowledge project ever!

I get the sense that saving Westeros and not getting the adoration she got in the past is supposed to be why she takes the turn she does, so I don't think anything is reversed. I think that makes less sense, actually.
My gut is that they're following the grrm's general outline and just forgetting to make sure everything makes sense.

3D Land and World have fixed cameras with 3D movement, I don't think it ever locks you to 2D movement like the maker levels do. It's less of a drastic change than changing 64 to a 2D locked game would be, but there's still a lot they can do with that.
