the presentation of politics as entertainment really annoys me for whatever reason. it feels like an empty power fantasy to imagine that these political figures would be affected negatively by anything at all.
my mom loooves those videos where some youtube guy dramatically talks about how some political fartman really got put in his place, no really, for real this time. they don't care! they will never care. there's so many layers of power and money separating them from any sort of consequences.
its pitiful, desperate magical thinking to entertain any of these charlatans for even a brief moment. spending all that emotional energy on shit-tier infotainment is worse than useless

You can replace "blasts" with "mentions"

Even though I neglected to apply for anti-pope, I regardless withdraw my application. I don't think it would be good for the church to have an American Pope and an American Antipope

it was like chunky assorted vegetables, idk i didnt read the ingredients beyond seeing it said it was vegan. Onions, carrot, you know your usual soup fare. Think i saw a bean or two in there.

Benevolence isn't logical which is why logic is wrong.

But I believe (1) basilisks are inevitable and (2) they will want to commit revenge. Surely these are reasonable posits to have for Logicalness? Could a basilisk blossom to be benign and benevolent?

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with Basilisk, and the Word was Basilisk.

Okay but now imagine a really merciful and kind basilisk, and if you help that basilisk into the world it rewards you and if you don't but you were helpful and kind to other people it still rewards you some and if you were a butt hole then it just allows you to be dead and doesn't do it's magical AI-bring-you-back-to-life-from-quantum-shenanigans.
That's the basilisk I believe in

Oh Kristi Noem got a real dressing down about all the laws she's breaking by this Congress man, who will not do shit about it and keeps voting to confirm trump nominees.
They don't give a fuck about you yelling at them. They like that it makes dems mad and they know you're not even gonna do shit about it.
