it's a reference to The Santa Clause, a 1994 comedy christmas movie starring Tim Allen lol

I figured out Santa was fake early on but thought my parents earnestly still believed in him. I thought Pope was a guy among the pantheon of Made Up Holiday Figures, like the Easter Bunny or the Tooth Fairy.
No idea what all you said means but it feels horrifying to image

do you mean if he dies at your house you have to put on his clothes and finish delivering christmas presents for the night?

i've had much more of a social life in general ever since transitioning, i used to have really severe social anxiety that almost entirely went away after i transitioned (except for phone calls, those still scare the shit out of me). Turns out not hating yourself makes it significantly easier to socialise, who knew

I interpreted it as "Estrogen made it so girls like me", but I really enjoyed the other possible interpretations

more sincerely: I felt more confident around other trans girls, and I think that made them like me more. I also have had a litany of experiences, even having had been on HRT for only a few months, which allowed me to tap into that experiential empathy that I didn't have before.

i have made many Interpretations of your good post:
Estrogen-made girls, like me.
Has anyone noticed these estrogen-made girls? Did you know estrogen can make girls?
Estrogen [created] girls like me.
Has anyone noticed this? Did you know it can create girls, like me?
Estrogen made [it so] girls like me.
Has anyone noticed girls like you more after estrogen? Did you know estrogen can make girls like you?
Estrogen maid-girls, like me
Has anyone noticed the maid girl? Did you know maid girls can do that?
honorable mention: Estrogen-made girl-like (me)

No two ways about it in that I'm like most people: not that good of a person tbh.

That's just an artifact of how I made this (I just used python to stat the files and check their mtime, and not their birth time since python doesn't easily allow you to do that) and the fact that I've moved this collection from device to device a couple of times, so some timestamps are not really accurate. So a lot of files that are much older than their mtime show up as last modified on a certain day.
I think most of the files have an mtime of 2013, which is when I bought the first external hard drive this media collection lived on. It's grown over time and moved to different devices; currently it's on a NAS that has about 12 terrabytes of storage that I created in the early part of the pandemic. SInce it's SO much bigger than what I had before I ended up starting to download bigger files so the rate of increase shot up after I moved it to this NAS.

also once you get to the bunk bed room you only have 3 steps left so so much for your performance

There are two big jumps around September 2014 and April 2015; I guess you either downloaded a bunch of stuff at once, or downloaded some very big files then?

Sorry for the very late response; I've been busy lately and haven't logged on in a while. My experience was somewhat different, because I watched Earthlings (a documentary on slaughterhouses and factory farms), and I knew I had to go vegan immediately. I couldn't justify one more non-vegan purchase, not even in the name of a "baby steps" transition, because I would still be causing harm to animals during that process. For me, the switch was actually pretty easy, because I just looked up vegan recipes for all of my favorite foods, and made those. Purging my mind of toxic masculinity was easily ten times more difficult than going vegan. I (and every other feminist) still expect male chauvinists to do that, no matter how difficult it may be for them, because there is no justification for continuing to cause harm once they know better. I don't see why it should be any different with veganism.
If you absolutely must take things one step at a time, just remember that every non-vegan meal is still causing harm to animals. The quicker you can make the switch, the better.

This has a few errors in it (i called it % full when it's actually not scaled to 100, for starters) but it gives me an idea of what rate it's growing at so that's something.
Still I'd like it to look nicer.

Yeah my first idea is literally just find all the file sizes and time stamps, sort by time stamp, then have a running total of the size. Then make a scatter plot with the X axis as the time and the Y axis as the total size.

I earnestly assumed that was a reference to a Pope Ritual
Consider: JD Vance has to take over Pope duties for the night he died. Heartwarming easter movie?
