I am thinking of plain black tea as part of a stomach-friendly diet anyway, at least my mom always used to give it to me when I was ill. Bit of tea and toast 👍

i found that very early adulthood (ie 18-21) was similar except you see someone you knew from school and are like "wow he has a moustache now"

Perhaps I should have clarified drugs on which you can develop a dependency?
I haven't ever had nicotine or been dependent on alcohol, but I imagine someone who was would feel like shit if they went cold turkey.

This really is a 50/50. Magic mushrooms are my favorite drug, so those plus diarrhea would equal weird diarrhea.

I was worried this would replacements like eza or ripgrep which, while excellent and I love them, aren't 1-for-1 replacements for ls or grep.
When I last looked at uutils, it seemed very immature. It's been a few years but even then I'm surprised it's ready enough that it's going to hit the next Ubuntu.

famously, ubuntu is revered for deviating from debian and the wider linux ecosystem (snaps, netplan, mir, ufw, apparmor, unity, upstart, etc.), so i'm sure this will be good and won't generate any complaints at all
