if you can, i highly recommend switching to linux. i'd recommend ubuntu or an ubuntu derivative

"year of the linux desktop" is a meme, and it's actually gotten harder to install on a lot of hardware, but videogames actually mostly work

i started using ubuntu from 10 years ago and man it's so much more enjoyable to be on ubuntu than on windows

i know "haha just get linux" is a meme but, like, windows 11 is still coming

I've never used VR but it sounds fun. I've thought a lot about it for higher-level math education. Linear algebra, multivariable calculus, etc. could probably be partnered really well with 3D visualizations.

Just like Alessia, I also felt like I was missing something. I thought "metaverse" was going to be more of an augmented-reality thing, like Pokemon Go but with magic glasses.

Even worse, VR is expensive and the only accessible solution for most people (Oculus) is gatekeeped by Facebook. So I don't really want it no

  • A Link Between Worlds

  • Super Mario 3D World

  • OoT 3D and MM 3D. (Both, IMO, the best way to play these games.)

  • Smash Bros 4 3DS (but it isn't anything too special if you already have Switch U)

  • Animal Crossing: New Leaf (might not be worth the time sink if you already have Wild World or New Horizons)

  • Mario Kart 7 is nice if you have friends who can play it too

  • And Mario & Luigi game

  • Cave Story 3D was pretty good

  • Star Fox 64 3D

  • New Super Mario Bros 2

  • I think there was also a Pokemon game on the 3DS

Various indie games like Steamworld Dig or Shovel Knight
