i agree. the problem is in our current system a job like that is rough on your body and you don't get the support you need to manage the damage as you age because it's considered less skilled and well at least in the us the medical system is just fucked in general

So just in case you were curious, a dharma vessel is basically a person that can learn, internalize, and experience the dharma. Dharma is actually a pretty complicated and multipurpose term that can mean the following things:
- The teachings of the Buddha
- The essence of the universe that connects everything and basically is everything.
- The experience of, for lack of a better way of putting it, examining and reflecting on that essence, usually through meditation.
- The laws of the cosmology, including the cycle of death and rebirth
- Probably some other stuff depending on your sect of Buddishm but mine (Zen) likes to keep it pretty simple and focused by comparison.
It's also worth noting that the term "dharma" is used outside of Buddhism too. I believe Hinduism uses it with similar meaning. Probably other religions that came out of the Indian subcontinent as well.

Reply to what are your sand opinions? by emma
one time when i was a kid i was walking around a campsite near a river and we went down to the river and i got my shoes soaked and full of sand and then i walked around the rest of the afternoon but my feet hurt so much i could barely walk and i wanted to go back but my "friend" wouldn't listen and that sucked but eventually i got back to the campsite and took my shoes and socks off and his dad got mad at him about it which was kind of nice but his dad was kind of an asshole too anyway that's my strongest sand memory but aside from that sand is pretty cool and its fun to build castles and stuff

warning with possible temp ban, then a full ban after. maybe a second or third warning too if there isn't a ton of harm from whatever incident. unless that is they're clearly acting in bad faith that's just a no warnings full ban seeya.

vans are neat if you're hauling stuff around a lot but i wouldn't want one in a city, particularly if it were a hilly city

i wouldn't say it's a security risk as it isn't really a vector for acquiring another user's personally identifiable information, but it isn't really the best thing. if we were a larger site i'd be more concerned about it but it's something i keep an eye out for.
that said even if mods were prevented from editing others' posts i can still edit the database so there still needs to be some trust when using a site like this. not that i'd ever want to do that unless something was broken from a technical standpoint ew. i'm not interested in being a bad person. it is important to think about when you use sites run by someone who isn't you though (read: corporations).
