one time when i was a kid i was walking around a campsite near a river and we went down to the river and i got my shoes soaked and full of sand and then i walked around the rest of the afternoon but my feet hurt so much i could barely walk and i wanted to go back but my "friend" wouldn't listen and that sucked but eventually i got back to the campsite and took my shoes and socks off and his dad got mad at him about it which was kind of nice but his dad was kind of an asshole too anyway that's my strongest sand memory but aside from that sand is pretty cool and its fun to build castles and stuff
