no it's worse, that shit will cook your guts, and all we can do is take the word of penny-pinching appliance manufacturers that the shielding they chose is sufficient

also when i was like 12 i watched a ton of tv programmes where they blow stuff up, and it turns out microwave ovens will do that to themselves if you decide to heat the wrong thing

ethernet cables are very cheap and you already had success in replacing one of them, so i think replacing more of them would be a good place to start.

i've only used the ethernet over power stuff once and it was dreadfully slow, so it sounds to me like you could be running into limitations with those. but it could also be that the cpu on your router is being saturated if you have a cheap and/or crappy one.

i am being somewhat hyperbolic, like my frustrations with the horse controls and the pig lunging sequence are obviously terrible reasons to conclude the game is not good. but they are legitimate frustrations nevertheless.

i feel this. it hasn't even been a day into 2023, and i've already breathed in plastic fumes by accidentally placing a pot of creme fraiche on a hot, ceramic stove while making lasagne

i predict the 2023 post will be the last of the golden era of new years posts. the 2024 post will be met with mixed reactions by critics, with new york times reviewer Dave Tessler proclaiming it 'unfunnier and less interesting than we think'. this decline in quality will last until the 2027 post, which is widely acclaimed as a new standard for posts everywhere.

there's quite a number of people who've asked for help setting up postmill in the matrix channel, and i've seen a few blog posts that also discuss setting it up. so it's possible there's quite a few, but since there's no telemetry or phoning home, idk

i've known this person for years, and it is my belief that they do not

i'm joking about not learning anything new, though. when i get sick of current projects, and i feel i can stomach learning new tooling, i will take the time to learn rust
