Reply to Battery-Powered Transit — Is It Overrated? by Moonside
there’s already a justin roczniak jumpscare in the video but it did leave out my favourite criticism of battery-powered transit: i love having to do rocket science for my trains. i’m sure when people say “it’s not rocket science” it's not because rocket science is a famously difficult thing

e621 dot net is the furry porn imageboard
(never confirmed but some theorize that it's named that way because 621 is the E number for MSG; the joke is it's a "tasty" website)

Reply to Koishi's theme but the time signature becomes progressively more chaotic than usual by nitori
time signature is more a gentle suggestion than a rule
(i like the piano solo they added at the end where it's just regular 4/4 too it's pretty banger)

is it "the wrong way around" as in which stuff should be the "depth" and which stuff should be the "foreground"?
i firstly thought that too but it fits the original video! the "foreground" is black in the original and the "depth" is white

Reply to Life Without Buildings - Sorrow by mm_
i adore the entire album! i was hip to it via "new town"; i think this was their "breakout" song, at least as much as a half-forgotten band from two decades ago could have one? but lately my favourite from the album has been the opener, "ps exclusive". the instrumental breakdown in the middle, when combined with the frantic vocals, sets the tone really well for the rest of the album. an exemplary opener
life without buildings p good. "happy scottish lady doing sprechgesang over late '90s-early 00's indie rock" is a pretty potent formula
