like, i do like one piece i stated that, and i also enjoy while acknowledging its problematic factors (which it has far more of than just tits), but i wasnt disparaging the anime because it has big boops, i was trying to say that i think it looks gross and ugly to me.

the main issue that i guess i should have put more focus on is that the anime is just paced so terribly. it drags itself forward slowly like spikes across your skin, people dont call it "one pace" for nothing. maybe thats less of a problem at the start. but if youre enjoying it, i hope you continue to, i like luffy i think hes silly

i just dont agree with the principles of the toei animation company. inserting entire "filler arcs" that werent in the manga so they could keep releasing episodes while the manga 'caught up' and the way the draw all the women with 2x tighter waists and 3x bigger boobs compared to the manga just makes it feel soo gross, even for an anime.

I am a one piece fan and i will never ever watch the anime because its such a god awful piece of crap waste of time.

The manga is pretty fucking swag though

Would her students still be saying "oh my gah" at that point or would it be "oh my gyatt" now?

the actual first 'movie' is only 21 minutes long, about the same as a regular episode, and serves more as a prequel to the series as whole than anything else. So the English 'Digimon: The Movie' is mostly just two movies stuck together with an extra bit at the beginning, I guess?

I remember the English version being... inconsistent in a lot of ways. Fun at the time, since I didn't know any better, but looking back i can't imagine wanting to rewatch the og dubbed version. Soundtrack was good, at least.

I love it but you might have had to have seen it as a child for it to really have taken hold of you lol.

The best summary of what the movie is like and its vibes is honestly just looking at the soundtrack, which has Smash Mouth, Fatboy Slim, Len, Barenaked Ladies and The Mighty Mighty Bosstones on it.

ohhhh i didn't realize they were redubbing them! I was very very fond of the digimon movie english dub back in the day but I've always kind of wanted to see the actual story (but with the voice actors I know)

if only they would release a version with the corrected dub but keeping the ska-ass soundtrack.....
