Is it good? Three movies mashed together sounds like it could be bad, but I imagine "peanut butter and jelly" also sounded bad to anyone who had never had it before,

I love it but you might have had to have seen it as a child for it to really have taken hold of you lol.

The best summary of what the movie is like and its vibes is honestly just looking at the soundtrack, which has Smash Mouth, Fatboy Slim, Len, Barenaked Ladies and The Mighty Mighty Bosstones on it.

the actual first 'movie' is only 21 minutes long, about the same as a regular episode, and serves more as a prequel to the series as whole than anything else. So the English 'Digimon: The Movie' is mostly just two movies stuck together with an extra bit at the beginning, I guess?

I remember the English version being... inconsistent in a lot of ways. Fun at the time, since I didn't know any better, but looking back i can't imagine wanting to rewatch the og dubbed version. Soundtrack was good, at least.
