Yeah :\
The Steam reviews are poor because of performance, and those don't include the people who can't even start the game. But I am happy it works for you on PC though!!
Not sure what the common denominator is. (I'm running this on Windows, I refunded before trying on Linux.)

I love it because it has so much useful stuff by default. It's almost as dense as Python (in terms of functionality-per-character) but super fast. The datastructures (vec! and HashMap) give you nearly the same powers as a Python list or dict.
I feel more "disconnected" from the metal than with writing C, but like, I write Python so that's not a problem for me. The syntax is weird but growing on me.

Reply to password manager update by devtesla
Oh what the fuck. Literally 40 minutes ago I got a friend to get onto 1password (family) to take advantage of the Valentines Day deal. And now I find out about this.
When I chose a password manager, I discounted Bitwarden because I wanted one I'd never have to fluff around with. I want something "foolproof" if it's going to be so sensitive. LastPass had too many dings on its record, so 1P it was for me.
Does Bitwarden have good offline for modifying items yet? The cryptocoin partnershit would be the dealbreaker if it weren't for this.

They make reusable metal filters (albeit they may take awhile to "even out" ecologically). The metal will also keep the oils and the 'siltiness' like a french press (which you might or might not want)

I think it's meant to measure how many cups of espresso they produce. I think we can give Bialetti a pass. Did they even use imperial measurements in Italy 3000 years ago when they invented the Moka pot?
twovests wrote (edited )
French presses are good for both tea and coffee, and IMO are much easier to use.
If you get a moka pot, make sure to get the deceptively-named '6-cup one', which will make about 3 "espresso shots" worth (and maybe one cup in volume.) They make strong flavored coffee that you'll want to dilute to make a "standard" cup.
Moka pots are definitely a lot trickier to use, I've used one maybe 100 times and have yet to get the hang of it.

Reply to comment by voxpoplar in Remember Amazon's videogame, Crucible? They dumped tens of millions into its first real videogame, which was legitimately poised to redefine hero shooters with a lot of interesting features, and then they shut it down a few months later? by twovests

Think of it like a 3rd-person Overwatch, where the main gameplay is like jungling in League, with the rolling-healthbar from Earthbound.
It was very rough and unpolished and confusing, but had a lot of cool ideas. They axed the game in a few months.
I also feel very vindicated for saying "this game is going to die" and r*ddit*rs saying "no" and then the game dying.
I feel bad for the devs, since this sounds like mismanagement.

Reply to what are some good 2player ds games by oolong
New Super Mario Bros and Super Mario 64 DS came with a lot of great minigames. IIRC they take very little (no?) language, but I last played ~15 years ago. Extra great because of DS download play. (Peer-to-peer connection, no online services needed.)
Mario Kart is also a classic.

is this a joke or would ccleaner in wine actually be able to do anything?
btw, ccleaner, along with avira, avg and avast have all been (or are about to be) acquired by norton.
christ, good to know. i know avira/vg/avast/norton are all horrible but i didn't know ccleaner fell under that scope :( that sucks

Gris isn't a very narrative-heavy game, doesn't have a lick of dialogue, but nonetheless tells a story very very well.
Also, I cannot emphasize this enough: I love love love the very pen-and-watercolor geometric / astronomical / architectural style they have. It is satisfying in a way I can't really express.
Another game, Metroid Dread, I found the story to be extremely satisfying for some really silly reasons. It's not a good story but it was satisfying as someone who has been invested in the series for two decades. Especially how they portray Samus. But I can't explain why without spoiling the game.
