I think my favorite feature along these lines is splatting.

it works the other way too. It's such a useful feature!

mercurial is also a heck of a lot easier to write plugins and extensions for so it's much easier to hook it in to other, larger scale source control systems.

i agree; git is good but for some reason people act like it's the only DVCS out there; I've always found mercurial to be easier to use and less convoluted and easier to learn.

Have about another week before i get my old one back. Then i'm gonna call some people. I'm gonna call up a storm. Dialing, listening to the ring, talking, hanging up, you name it i'll do it.

A few months ago, i was riding my bike and a person stepped off the curb, causing me to swerve and ultimately my bike to come out from under me in a crash.

As I was laying on the ground the guy came up and put his hand on my back asking if I was ok. It was the first time someone had touched me in like, months, and it was inexplicably nice. Just a concerned person, showing their concern.

Which is not to say, everone go out and touch everyone, but, it was nice and it really struck me.

imagine being called out and then that callout becoming part of a major world religion for literally thousands of years after that
