i said "this" though. aaack. not dedicated enough apparently

re: "i don't use pronouns i'm not woke" — i've had similar trains of thought too over the years, though because i'm not a very deep thinker in general it usually just stops with "yeah i agree with the right-wingers: just call everyone with their proper names it's less confusing that way :)" → "don't benathan sound silly when benathan actually speaks without pronouns?". you know as if that's the actual substance of their argument.

agree with all of the points in the article. if it does not go well with rice it's not a meal

i don't know why this is even controversial tbh. is it just one of these things (much like "pineapple on pizza" actually) where it's a nice topic for people to just shout at each other about without actually thinking deeper about it (spoken without derisiveness it's a fun thing to do) (okay maybe a little bit derisive)

"i can't pay attention if it's not sang to me in a spongebob/miku duet" but for real: i think if your initial exposure to this song was like, passive (having it play in the background, on the top 40 radio and whatnot), you'd condition yourself not to listen closely; your minds files it under "pop dreg". listening to it in a different context allows you to pay attention to things that you didn't before, e.g., the god dangned lyrics
