it 1. involved hilariously in-depth convoluted exploits to be possible ("but before we get to that we have to talk about parallel universes") 2. is kinda fun to see these incredibly specific, incredibly passionate subcultures 3. the video itself is weirdly fun to watch, the guy does a great job making it weirdly interesting

Has anime gotten a lot better over the course of the decade or are YOU doing a big recency bias! (if it turns out that most of these aren't that recent and I'm just old I'm gonna crumble into a pile of dust and blow away)

I watched the first 2 eps of the anime with the gun head man and enjoyed it. Lotta the random ladies were very much drawn by horny dudes but the main lady doesn't seem to suffer from that at all and i love her.

Stars Align is one of those where I wanna watch it but also dunno if I can like. Handle that.

Def gonna hit Beastars when it gets free from jail.

How does the isekai one treat its lady characters? My main impression of that whole genre is that it's pretty garbage about women

I've vaguely felt like I should watch that show for years now, idk if I'll ever actually get to it though

I'm currently having a lot of feelings about March Comes In Like a Lion and I highly recommend it to everybody. It is so sweet and also so sad and it makes me feel warm like no show has ever done before.
