you used to be able to escape the ads and bullshit by installing a retail copy, though. not anymore. in the current version of windows 10, you aren't even allowed to disable sending your start menu searches to bing without manually changing the registry.

i happen to know of a company with an iOS-shaped hole it needs to dig itself out of, but it's based in Antarctica and it'd be short-term contract work, so probably very inconvenient with taxes and paperwork and all that

as you did not prefix these statements, i have no choice but to act in a manner in which i'd get into a lot of legal trouble if they aren't true

Reply to comment by Moonside in Cryptoqueen: How this woman scammed the world, then vanished by Moonside
I just don't like the framing of cryptocurrency scams as a phenomenon no one could have predicted. Media plays a huge role in hyping up these scams with uncriticial coverage, and some people will inevitably invest because they get the impression they have to jump on the bandwagon or lose out on an opportunity.
I take back the "dipshits", though. I didn't realise the extent of the scam, and it's not fair of me to be judgemental towards people who lack impulse control.
