Reply to comment by twovests in should i get a french press or a moka pot? by hollyhoppet
There needs to be an industry-wide reckoning among coffee equipment manufacturers with the unrealistically low volume that constitutes a "cup"
emma wrote
can't speak to moka pots, but french presses tend to make the coffee quite bitter or "impure" for lack of a better way to describe it. i make decaf in mine sometimes when i'm too lazy to clean the machine, and i'm satisfied with the result but it's not amazing by any stretch of the imagination.

is this a joke or would ccleaner in wine actually be able to do anything?
was a joke, but i looked it up and apparently people have had success with it
probably wouldn't clean up the snake poop, though

just run it in wine
btw, ccleaner, along with avira, avg and avast have all been (or are about to be) acquired by norton. all the washed up anti-malware companies are grouping to form a giant scoop with which they are scraping the bottom of the barrel.

that's a nice, lightweight website you have there. would be a shame if the new york times crossword department heard about it.

you used to be able to escape the ads and bullshit by installing a retail copy, though. not anymore. in the current version of windows 10, you aren't even allowed to disable sending your start menu searches to bing without manually changing the registry.

i happen to know of a company with an iOS-shaped hole it needs to dig itself out of, but it's based in Antarctica and it'd be short-term contract work, so probably very inconvenient with taxes and paperwork and all that

as you did not prefix these statements, i have no choice but to act in a manner in which i'd get into a lot of legal trouble if they aren't true
