I've been having a stressful couple of weeks so today I bought some girlscout cookies to share with a friend. I'm starting school and 2 jobs soon so I'm going to try to be forgiving (but not too forgiving!) to myself. I need to remember to waste less time on my phone and more time reading and drawing

I have tried and enjoy puerh, especially with a little milk. maybe I will use more teabags since I tend to use more coffee grounds per cup than most already.

he isn't insincere though; he admits to finding these people interesting once he gets the conversation going. I'd rather have someone listen to me, even if their enthusiasm is slightly feigned, than to dismiss me immediately. I might have a chance of getting along with them then.

I do agree with your other points though.

I wish I could get into tea because there are so many varieties, but how do I make it taste at all satisfying? it's so weak in comparison to coffee

I know the feeling, and you're on the right path with trying to improve yourself. Make sure you're actually improving though, and not just beating yourself up for not being the things you wish you were. that's a mistake I made for a long time; I used to make lists of things I was gonna change about myself, dumb superficial social things like "be quieter so people will think you're mysterious" and "read 3 things a day so you'll be smarter and have more stuff to talk about". But the only things that actually helped in the end were ones like "remember to ask people how they're doing" and "remember one thing about each person you meet that you can ask them about next time you see them". It's almost cynical, but people tend to care about you more once they see that you care about them. Love people, and they'll love you back.
