I lost all of my audio on my desktop linux computer. I checked my volume control and headphones. No matter. I did what the wikis and forum posts told me to, didn't work. I rebooted my system. Didn't work. Still tried things. Didn't work. I muted and unmuted audio. Now it works.

Linux audio feels like Mordor, I wonder how people ever dare to venture into it. Which is kinda sad, broke musicians could definitely benefit if Linux audio was great.

yeah i have seen some music production focused distros and when they work, they work really well, but the ones i have seen tend to only work on older hardware or on specific expensive models of newer hardware
