We believed that we would "stay with it". We would never become
our parents, we would always "get it". We thrived in the weirdest
corners of early 2000s internet, nothing could phase us.
The em dash was represented as two characters (--) so I didn't include it (would have been like 5 minutes more of work), sorry hoppet.
Wasn't really as extreme as I thought, but the semicolon/period ratio does seem to be higher than in all the other analyzed books. The period/comma ratio is also quite interesting to compare.
I am far from a fashion person, but when it comes to men's clothes for
$200, here's what I would do:
$100: A nice pair of skinny jeans, with fairly thick fabric. The ones
with thin, stretchy fabric will feel great, but they tear quickly. In
my experience, you can just walk into a shop with jeans, tell them
what you're looking for, and they will set you up.
$30: An ok dress shirt, to wear tucked into the jeans for nicer
occasions. You won't get the great stuff at this price point
unfortunately, so look for sales. The important thing here is that you
feel comfortable wearing it, but if you're not that into dress shirts
you might need to convince yourself.
$40: 2-4 t-shirts, with a shape and print that you like
Ardour has the weirdest business model. It's free software but you can pay for binaries, and I'm pretty sure that they're trying to keep the build process as difficult and annoying as possible on purpose.
And the old games are either defunct, deserted, or filled with ridiculously talented players. I just want to play Counter-Strike 1.6 or Return to Castle Wolfenstein on a server full of average players again :/

you should have been there when we were running gentoo on our athlon xp's in the early 00's "oh you want to try that neat pdf viewer LET'S COMPILE ALL OF QT AND KDE FOR THE NEXT 4 HOURS LOL"
I like to try to find out about the history of the train and route, especially if it's an older train. Idk if it's the same everywhere, but where I am each car will have a unique number, so it's possible to trace the history of the particular car you're sitting in, when it was built and renovated and such.
On my android phone (all android phones?) the tab count is replaced with a ":D" smiley when you reach triple digits. I usually try to stay in the 80-99 tab range, but at the moment I'm solidly into :D territory.
Safety razor shaving is awful IMO, but it's somehow better than the alternatives. Are you using canned shaving cream? It should work fine, but shaving got way easier for me when I got a soap and brush.
(I have a synthetic brush from Mühle, from what I can tell it ought to be just as good as any badger brush. It was pretty cheap when I bought it too.)
