I think the first commenter is right on the money - it's about control and striving to protect your existing business models with promises, hype and patents. I wonder if we could see free equipment that's pay per hour even (and plentiful advertisement).

That said, I do wonder about this current trend of ignoring latency in just about everything. Using gagdets seems more and more sluggish every year even if once running, lots of processing and action happens. Like using Twitter on a mobile browser is pure Hell and the original concept was pretty much just constrained writing as a social media.

I think the big mistake was trying to create something cinematic that folllows the film.

I was banned for less than five minutes, I guess? Like

1. I was getting banned from /f/ourside from posting my garfield post
2. I was getting banned from here trying to post this post (within like a minute).
3. I awaited for a little (about 5-10 minutes I guess) and got unbanned. I feel like someone else has to comment or post or vote before I was unbanned and could post anything I wanted to.

I'm now consumed by the desire to base my next DnD character upon him as a dude who doesn't know things and I don't even know how to play DnD.

I think it's more like the tough roots and sinewy shit we don't eat while growing up, thus our jaw bone doesn't get the stimulation that encourages growth in the bone.
