No you're not wrong. Nintendo has gotten extremely good at planning and making sure there's a fun game worth buying coming out every month or two. Part of it is because they're not as ambitious, like every other publisher makes these giant open world games or e-sports, while Nintendo gets away with less. But like, these games still rule.

You know the wii u some duds but like... is there a game on the switch that nintendo has released that like... isn't good? And by good I don't mean the Gamer definition of good or esports material or whatever but like... fun to play for a regular video game player like myself.

I'm also not trying to say there isn't I'm actually alarmed that i can't think of any that are bad and am scared I'm becoming a weird nintendo zealot or something so please prove me wrong.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance has sold more than one million copies in less than a month. Its all-time concurrent player peak is higher than The Witcher 3's. So why is a janky role-playing game set in the Holy Roman Empire so popular?

TBH this almost strikes me as answering it's own question, as this thing alone is distinguished enough to win attention from me. Basically only other thing that would make me explode with excitement would be a movie or game (action or rpg) with centered on the varangian guard, because I'm the kind of person who always plays with Byzantium if available. Actually a game set in Warring States or Three Kingdoms period of China would be plenty cool too, but also make it mythological and magical.

“I just want to tell them in case something happens. They honestly just treat me like I’m fucking stupid,” Caviness said. “A police officer has said, ‘Are you afraid I’m gonna shoot you?’ Like, yeah, I am. It happens all the time.”

Police have told Caviness that she needs to stop streaming on Twitch. “This is my job,” she said she told them. “It’s my right to do it. You need to be defending that right.”

Oh my goddd

I'm wondering why they wouldn't have a little 'cannot die' flag once you get the end goal thing. are there puzzles where that would interfere or something?

I'm not gonna argue it was great, but the ending was brilliant, it did a lot to advance Aang as a kind of trickster god character who is willing to go to certain moral extremes to avoid conflict and war, and when you look at it like that, it kinda foreshadowed the ending of the whole series where Aang hates war so much that he invents a new kind of bending to fix it (a kind of bending that as LoK points out is not necessarily very nice)
