Reply to Beware: If We Make Minimum Wage $15 Then People Won’t Need Two Jobs, Meaning They’ll Have Leisure Time, Meaning There Will Be More Gamers by voxpoplar
Either that, or they'll have time to read theory and realize that jacking the minimum wage alone isn't enough and that they won't be free until they abolish wage slavery.

Yeah, the Yuzu blogger seems pretty good at turning bugfixes into stories.

fantastic read, thank you for sharing!
I'm really interested in the physical nature of stuff, really overlaps with toy and merchandise design.

I don't know a thing about programming but I always enjoy these longform articles where people reverse engineer software and explain why something weird happens.

Didn't except to see such a clear example of unnecessary asymptomatic complexity in a video game.

according to wolfram alpha that would just get rid of 37% of the stars in our galaxy, so we'd still have quite a bit of stars left. 30 million gamers would have to complain every day for 91.32 trillion years, or about 6600 times the age of the universe.

it would take thirty million gamers 10 years, each making one complaint every day, in order to get rid of all the stars. i think we'll be ok

i would simply stick to using regularwide monitors if the things i wanted to do weren't possible using ultrawide monitors

oh yea I should have mentioned this, thank you

fun fact: The Wii also doesn't have an OS. When you start a game from the system menu it passes complete control of the console to the game itself. The "overlay" that games pop up when you press the 🏠 button is programmed into each individual game.

it has an option to set the shouting language to Irish and takes into account that there is no native Irish word for "no" which impressed me greatly
