  • A gorgeous, no-corners-cut, no hole, rectangular screen.
  • Generous bevels, to make iPhone easier to use than ever before. It gives the screen a cinematic look, with two gorgeous black bars.
  • And now introducing Home Button, an easy-to-use multitool for interacting with your phone.
  • The Side Button is getting a sleek, new name to reflect how powerful it is. That's right, side button is now Power Button.

This is the third generation of iPhone design. We call it iPhone 3G. We think you're going to love it.

iPhone is based on the assumption that slipping and sliding is the natural state of interaction with the natural world. Here's how to switch apps :)

Android:

  1. Press the "switch apps" button

  2. Tap the app you want to switch to

iPhone:

  1. Place your finger on the "gesture bar" on the bottom of the screen.

  2. Pull up until you feel one vibration.

  3. Wait for the animation to complete.

  4. In some fullscreen apps, you will need to repeat step 2 another time. This activates the App Switcher.

  5. Wait for the animation in 4 to complete.

  6. Tap the app you want to switch to.

    1. WARNING-- If your finger moves upward by delta-y 1 pixel, during the "tap" this will actually swipe the app closed. You can not hear it, but iPhone is laughing at you.
  7. Wait for the animation to complete.

  8. Wait until the app re-loads, because your open apps have probably swapped out of memory by now.

As you can see, iPhone is far easier and more natural.

what if instead of "we slip and slide as we fall in love" depeche mode sang "we slip and slide as we use iphone",, it would be horrible because the syllable count tracks but the meter kinda doesn't

SHARP corners please. I would like 90 degree angles on this new iPhone 3G

the corners should be sharp enough that the phone can double as a knife. this would be a good selling point feature i think

In the 2000s, YouTubers asked the question, "will it blend" and put the iPhone into a food processor. In 2026 the new iPhone will have a set of spinning knives you can use to make a fruit smoothie on the go, perfect for your busy, affluent middle class lifestyle.

It all comes full circle.
