my girlfriend historically has been a huge fan of homestuck and trolls me by slipping homestuck reference into casual conversations, which usually go over my head but I can Tell She's Doing It sometimes cause she's so fuckin SMUG about it. and also I like listening to her talk about things she likes so I am gradually learning more about homestuck as a side effect of this relationship, when previously I had considered my utter ignorance re: homestuck to be a great source of my power. the things I do for love.

would you broadly recommend switching from windows 10 to windows 11? removing some of the cruft seems nice, and I just sort of assume that updates have allowed 10 to be as maximally predatory as it can be (so I assume 11 probably isn't worse in that regard?)

i felt like toward the end of the ps3/xbox 360 we basically made it. xbone and pissforce didn't need to happen imho, CERTAINLY whatever nonsense is after them doesn't need to exist. it's fine. graphics are fine. they're good. they're plenty good enough I think.

I have mixed feelings about this because while the sense of privacy on discord isn't really real and we are definitely losing out on stuff being archived and saved because of the lack of indexing, I don't think it's a full 100% unadulterated good for everything people say online to be search engine indexed either
