because it's decentralized mastodon is odd because there's a lot more "pockets" and some pockets do twitter sharing and some don't. i see barely any twitter screenshots in my neck of the woods. it all depends on what instance you're on and what instances that instance federates or chooses not to federate with.
if you're on a large instance, especially the dumpster fire that is mastodon.social you may benefit from moving to a smaller one if you've seen enough posts coming from one that's nice. octodon.social is a pretty chill generalist instance for example.
and yeah most people who are just there to talk and make friends have quite a distaste for the "explore" tab because like... it's designed to show you the fire hose of shit.

the company is extremely bullish right now on automation as a cost saving measure so unless it's something directly unethical i don't think i have much room to call it out. also yeah we're not hosting our own models it would be through chatgpt lol
best case i can say "i don't know if this will work very well" and do whatever they ask. best best case is i'm only tangentially doing something to enable another team's integration.

yeah i agree. not perfect but i still found it to be an interesting read and do worry that kids are not being given adequate opportunities for explorative play.
...especially when i hear about stuff like schools cutting recess time in order to push for better test scores

well you took down one of the most prosperous chinese dynasties and replaced it with a more oppressive one. then you followed that up with several failed campaigns in southeast asia. so i'd say yes
