not to big it up too much, but this has a few advantages over google that i really like, though they may not matter to anyone else. typing "teatimer.site/5" is faster than going to google for me because i don't use their search engine. it also displays the countdown in the document.title, so i can tab over to another window and still see how much time is left. it also has a convenient way to get predictable minutes and seconds every time. a few test googles revealed inconsistent support for that.
it's also written in a way that you can subtract seconds if you want. "4m-15" gives you 3 and 3/4th minutes. okay, this last one is probably not actually useful :]

Wooooah cool!
I used to have hydration concerns as I had an ileostomy for a while so no colon function but that's all hooked up again!

Whether caffeine is a diuretic is dependent on the dose and whether you ingest it regularly. If you're in the habit, you need to drink quite a lot of tea quite fast for the effects to kick in. (Over 5-8 cups of tea.) If you've got a situation where dehydration is a concern (renal disease, diarrhea, working outdoors), then the research might not apply.
NHS happens to have a page on media reports about coffee being just as hydrating as water.

It's not more diuretic than water though.

i have both teabags and leaves for black tea, but i like the tea bags more. for green, puerh and oolong tea, i only have loose leaf and bricks. this is considerably less tea than the typical chinese home

it's not super recommended for more delicate teas, but brewing longer or hotter is another way. also, mugicha/roasted barley tea tastes mildly like coffee!

I have tried and enjoy puerh, especially with a little milk. maybe I will use more teabags since I tend to use more coffee grounds per cup than most already.
