I mean if a band is unique enough then sure. I'd consider Shpongle to be its own genre

Jazz, a small few progressive metal bands, and doujin music that sounds like it's from a fantasy anime or video game.

i feel like tmbg and john darnielle are the same genre. but i dont listen to tmbg

i like pop music as long as it's not the pop music that most people like because i'm like that.

also ambient music because i'm SLEEPY
