Forced masculinization (forcemasc) was something of a response to forced feminization (forcefem).
Forcefem is something appreciated by cis men under the 'sissy' kink and also by trans women, especially those who are still "boymoding". There can be either a humiliation element to it, or an uplifting and empowering element-- it all depends on how the subject views women.
Forcemasc is a bit more self aware, and something I've only seen among the artsy Tumblr youths. Unlike forcefem, I really only see forcemasc enjoyed by transmascs and other gender-adjacent people.
Despite that, a lot of the memes are written in a way that glorifies masculinity, in a way that feels like someone from the outside-looking-in ("don't you want to dig a whole with the boys?"), or from someone from the inside-reaching out ("let's go on an adventure called testosterone").
That is to say, forced-masculinization is a rare piece of trans positivity that seems to actively address ones assigned gender. In many pieces, the audience is assumed to be a trans guy (questioning or otherwise) who is an uncracked egg, or freshly cracked, or otherwise still adhering in some degree to the identity of "woman".
That said, memes move fast, and there are a few "forcemasc" memes which are really just encouraging trans men to embrace the changes they're experiencing under testosterone, including weight gain and hair loss. I'm also ignoring all of the forcemasc memes meant to be funny, like "forcemascing a cis guy by giving him a pussy."
I think this forum became an embrace of a gender binary through the lens of criticizing behaviors we see as male, rather than appreciating and extending the memes which glamorize masculinity.
You all missed the point.
... But by missing the point, you've created something new and beautiful.
You know what half the population misses the point regularly?
