Use the Rosie Big Daddy from Bioshock. More iconic than any of the actual playable characters anyway.

Pretty much anyone from TF2 would work. Heavy is a good iconic mascot for the game though.

Counter-Strike doesn't really have characters. You just have terrorists and counter terrorists. Quake does have characters and several different canons/universes. Though no one really cares about those characters lol

Crysis you have Nomad, Psycho or Prophet. I'd go with Prophet because Nomad has no personality and Psycho is boring. Prophet is the only one in all three games too.

I've never played Borderlands.

I mean I guess a lot of the examples I'd think of are maybe more 90s and 00s than current but also I mean are all the smash bros characters notable or current? Ice climbers, mr game and watch, ROB, are obscure full stop and no one other than nintendo nerds knows who pit, ness or shulk are.
