The r/startrek community has permanently moved to a Lemmy instance. I'm a recent new Star Trek fan so this kicks ass. The vibe I pick up is that Star Trek folks tend to be cool, older, and at the very least, leftish enough to be fans of fully-automated luxury space communism.

A few months back we had a post asking about other postmill instances too.

Are we interested in links to other Small Social Media Sites, especially with the Twitter exodus and now Reddit exodus?

I don't even know how to use a Lemmy all I know is it's a postmill clone that uses activity pub under the hood.

I've been thinking about that too - I've been on reddit nearly as much as normal just with unusual high levels of bad feelings, so it's definitely time to try out new reddit-likes.

So yeah, I'm interested
