feeling bad about the current joe biden stuff

i'm in my 20s and i'm worse at articulating myself in speech than joe biden, even given the opportunity to prepare and write a script to read from

i've got a demo coming up in 20 minutes and i'm gonna experience this again. i've practiced twice and i'm reading from a script. i'm done for

this isn't a "joe biden defense" but it feels bad to see libs around me citing poor speech performance as examples of a rotting mind, unfit for anything but drooling

you ,as a normal person, shouldnt feel bad about not being a perfect communicator.

joe biden, as the person in charge of nuclear missiles, should feel like if he sneezes too hard a very angry bee will be released into his skull

i think that if you wrote and prepared for a speech you would not say things that are totally inconsistent with your ostensible beliefs, like talking about mexican immigrants raping women

while this is true, speaking on the spot, i have said atrocious stuff by mixing up double-negatives and single negatives

things like "it's not bad to say racism is good", etc. (of course, i think racism is bad, and it's bad to say racism is good, and it's not bad to say racism is bad, etc.)

(i'm not trying to be silly, this is a problem i have and i feel insecure about)

My problems with biden have never been that he's old. I don't care if he's "an old white man." All things being equal I'd prefer to have more diversity but as long as he was doing good things I wouldn't care. Barney Saunders is an old white man too but people loved him -- the old thing isn't the problem.

Even his senility isn't a problem for me really. It's a big machine, he's not really making day to day decisions. As long as he has good advisors and he follows them, I don't care if he's in a coma 90% of the time.

The problem with biden is he's a right wing asshole who hates the left and everything we stand for and loves genocide and is racist and loves cops.

For sure, i think that actual politics are way more important than what demographics a candidate falls into, but any person who wants a chance at being nominated for the democrat presidential spot is going to have to protect american interests, which means protecting its foothold in the middle east, which means supporting as much genocide as that foothold wants. So the least the party could do is let the citizens of the empire have a leader who lets them feel a little respectable.

It would be awe some if every democrat got turned into protein bars

oh yeah, this is how i feel precisely. i am still really looking at lina khan with optimism, who's work is far more important to me than biden's stuff, and i feel like the genocide thing overwhelms all of that

i dont think saying an 81 year old man who has clearly and visibly gone into natural decline shouldnt be the head of a government is particularly ageist.

i dont see why if it has to be a democrat, why it has to be biden at all, its not like people actually care about the person theyre voting for, they just like the colour of the signs around them. as long as they swap him out with another straight white guy theyll vote boob no matter whob ( i think they still need a longer cooling off period before they can handle another non white guy)

like im not pushing respectability politics or any thing, but it used to be if you pronounced a word kinda funny one time your political careers would effectively be over, and biden can barely pronounce any word at all. i just think he should be threshed in the machine, thats all
