Yep it's all just set in advance. You can just set your system clock forward or back to do past or future Wordles.

As I understand it there are two separate lists. A list of words it accepts as guesses and a smaller list it actually picks answers from.

I think that using letters that are marked out can be useful when fishing for letters if you have a word that can check a lot of common letters or specific positions even if it uses ones you know can't be correct instead. But I guess if hard mode is enabled that becomes less useful.

Reply to very disappointed by "block chain" by twovests
It doesn't really offer file storage. It's prohibitively expensive to put that much data on the blockchains that people actually use so the NFT stuff is generally just URLs to files stored elsewhere. The distributed computation sort of exists in Ethereum smart contracts the distributed VM's processing power is pathetic. Like an order of magnitude worse than a raspberry pi for the entire network I think. None of this is actually useful.

it's the 90s

I love the completely dissonance between the Baywatch people thinking they're making a normal PSA video and the British children's TV presenter shouting into his microphone and also sometimes Ecco the Dolphin footage and music.
