- crafts (i.e. forums things people here made, not necessarily just physical craftwork)
- tech
- support/personal

I think a sorta "I made this" category might be cool! for the drawe, photography, cooking, etc forums
and maybe something like 'fandom' for like, anime/games/cartoons etc"?
im not totally sure what the purposes of the categories is so idk how useful this is as ideas but!

you can make your own forums!! hit the create forum button here http://www.jstpst.net/forums
this is for "categories" which is a higher level thing we can put forums into.
