honestly, as jarring it is for me to say this, it fits the IP as:

1. Undertale is inspired by Mother and Mother characters are also in Smash
2. the decision is grounded in fan culture like UT is
3. it's jokey and sneaky to put Sans in a very modest manner, much like UT itself is jokey and sneaky.

i use this monster but it's a bit tricky to get working with the normal windows bluetooth stack as you have to choose the right driver in the device manager

for a cheaper option this guy works fine as long as there isn't too much radio interference

Ahh okay so I use an 8BitDo Wireless USB Adapter which isn't really a bluetooth receiver, it looks like it's doing something funky in between so things are not showing up in the bluetooth menu. One joycon connects and it actually works as a controller by itself, but the second one won't connect.
