why does my hairbrush smell like shoe polish

it smells like a combination of shoe polish and burnt rubber and bad breath. apparently this is normal for boar bristle brushes that havent been used in a while (i havent touched this brush for like 2 years and only used it like, twice) or for new ones but what the fuck LOL

urgh. i fucking gagged

probably hair/bristle/factory oils stagnating. washing it will probably help
