Something dark backgrounded but not like, neon blue on pitch black would be nice. A nice light gray on a dark gray or something.

use firefox with extension "Dark Reader". it looks exactly liek what youre wanting, a nice dark grey background, and it works on ever page.

I use Moonsides Saturn-Valley but the bg is all black. I like it a lot even tho it is a bit Nonstandard

Yeah it's based on the eponymous Earthbound level. That said, adjusting the background is oneline change. Maybe I'll look into it.
