I'm clicker training my cat, and the first thing I'm training her to do (besides the basic starting "touch this pointer" stuff) is to leave me the h*ck alone when I'm eating crunchy foods

and I think it's working! now when I'm eating a cronch and she's sitting a little ways away from me, I click her and she seems inclined to go back to sitting a reasonable distance away after getting her treat. Of course once I click she gets HYPE and harasses me for her treat but y'know, I'll take what I can get! at least it's controlled now

(she does sit and stare and purr at me from her safe distance while I have a Cronch though. it's funny)

It helps that she is OBSESSED with this one brand of treats we have! I want to try training the other cats too but I think I'll need something fancier to get them started.
