light is kind of crazy

me kinda hungry at 2 am: oh it's kind of dark in here *hits light switch and electrical energy is instantly converted by devices the price of a cup of coffee into billions of photons which strike and reflect from billions of points into my eyeballs which have specialised light detecting cells developed over billions of years for this very purpose*

me: oh sweet we got chips in here *monch monch* ok back to bed
