i have video games that i'd like to play but i can't play them because i only have the energy for sudoku or picross or crossword puzzles . am i just really burnt out or am i overthinking the act of playing games ?

it basically only works if the console let's you pause at any time and if the game assumes you have 20 minutes a week every few months to play it

I just play until I get bored or frustrated and then turn it off until I want to again. Sometimes that means I'm cycling back and forth between game and something else every 20 minutes, sometimes it means I have something on my computer installed but never run for six months

i mostly play on pc and i'm already using the pc so its like not like i have to go and boot up a ps4 or whatever. and i alt f4 when i've had enough

for pc games, the problem is the pc itself, probably. it's 12 years old and can't keep up with too many open programs and it has had gone home on it for the last 5 years
