razor burn is usually from putting too much pressure and having a bad angle with your blade. Here is a good page about getting a good angle the pics at the bottom will help a lot if you dont want to read the whole thing

mantic has some good vids were he shows what he is doing i have not watched them in a while but i think hes still the best as far as videos about wet shaving goes
