On this Transgender Thursday, we salute Erin Reed, an independent journalist covering developments in transgender legislation. Thank you for all your hard work, Erin!

This may be a bleak topic right now, but I think it's important to acknowledge someone who is covering it as extensively as Erin is. Erin Reed runs the website Erin in the Morning, where she publishes articles covering trans legislation, mainly (but not exclusively) pertaining to the US. She also creates risk maps showing which states are currently safer/more dangerous for trans adults and youth. She has been doing this for years, and she recently married Zooey Zephyr, a trans member of the Montana house of representatives. While I disagree with her about the effectiveness of calling your representatives, I still think her coverage is high quality and very much needed during this time.
